Job Title: Social Media & Community Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Manager, Global Brand Marketing
Position Summary: G-Form is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join our marketing team. You will have a passion for social media and brand marketing in the sports industry with an understanding of marketing strategies and tactics utilizing G-Form’s brand look and voice to amplify brand growth and visibility.
Responsibilities:

1. Build and execute social media content and strategies: Utilizing G-Form’s assets, create social media content calendar and seasonal plans that align with overall company strategies to deliver impactful and measurable results that amplify brand visibility and consumer engagement.
2. Content Creation: Generate, edit, schedule, and share daily content on all of G-Form’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn). Work closely with the marketing team to plan, execute and measure all content created to support overall marketing initiatives and goals.
3. Community Management: Serve as point-of-contact behind G-Form’s social channels, responding to comments and direct messages, communicating directly with customers, athletes, ambassadors, and brand partners. Track and utilize athlete and ambassador content deliverables, as well as user-generated content.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide additional Marketing Team Support to include but not limited to; eCommerce content generation support with emails and blog posts, create BTS photoshoot content in collaboration with Creative Team, supplying consumer feedback to product design team, and more.
5. Continuous improvement: Stay up to speed with current trends, industry knowledge, analyzing social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, using data to make informed decisions and changes.
Skills/Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required which include but are not limited to:
1. Degree in marketing, business or a related field.
2. One year of experience required.
3. Excellent communication, writing, editing (photo/video/text), and organization skills.
4. Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
5. Social analytics tools knowledge.
6. Strong understanding/interest of the sports industry, specifically in baseball, mountain bike, soccer, lacrosse and softball and an understanding of the landscape, players, and key happenings within a plus.
7. Next Level attitude: creative, curious, and always looking for ways to take G-Form’s brand to a higher level.
Position Type
This is a salaried role based in our Providence, RI Headquarters. Some night and weekend work will be required as the seasonal business calendar dictates. A valid driver’s license is required.
Travel
Up to 10% business travel will be required including some nights and weekends.
