Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide assistance with ADLs to a 62 year old man.

The Client

The client is 62 years old with the following conditions:

• Traumatic brain injury: speaks via lap top, otherwise he is normal emotionally
• Uses a wheelchair/walker so needs transfer/mobility assistance
• Client is gay and lives with her husband and heir dog
• Client's injury occurred 20 years ago, he is HIV VE/AIDS
• Client does not need medical care, only needs assistance with activities of daily living and personal care - help in the bathroom etc.

Job Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work daily 12 hour night shifts (8pm to 8am) Tuesdays through Saturdays..
• Long term position. Only dedicated applicants willing to commit long term should apply.
• Must be able to get along with the dog
• Previous caregiving experience REQUIRED.
• Experience with transfer techniques REQUIRED.
• HCA, HHA, CNA Registration/certification desired and preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to be fingerprinted.
• Assist client with all ADLs, monitor and supervise and keep client company. Assist with light chores, keep clients environment clean.

PAY

• $21.50 per hour flat rate
• Guaranteed 60 hours per week
• Available for immediate start, after successful meet & greet interview
• Pay by direct deposit twice a month, 2 weeks in arrears.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Night shift
