This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns guests may have during their stay. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using phone systems and hotel management software.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Conduct night audits as required, balancing daily transactions and preparing reports for management.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a positive first impression for guests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest services throughout their stay.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
Skills
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Proficiency in phone systems and hotel management software is preferred.
- Experience in hospitality management or previous front desk roles is an advantage.
