Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino Position Title: Graphic Designer

Summary of Position:

The Graphic Designer will create and produce layouts, graphic designs, and marketing materials. This includes visual communication media such as books, periodicals, television, electronic media, and packaging pieces from the marketing department (posters, duratrans, e-posters, Janus displays, Speed Media, mailers, newsletters, etc.). The role involves organizing work for ease of distribution on internal and external servers, adhering to established procedures for creating, submitting, and archiving design files, and using job packets to track work performed. The designer will also assist with special events, promotions, or concerts as needed and undertake other special projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Proficiency with major industry software and ability to contribute conceptually to the design

• Working knowledge of Macintosh computers and popular graphics industry software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Ability to maximize input and output devices such as printers, cameras, and other
• Excellent communication
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
• Minimum of one year experience in Casino Marketing, Gaming, or Casino Services
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative
• Basic knowledge of office equipment, printers, fax, and finishing
• Experience with print workstations, Fiery, and Creo
• Mescalero Apache Tribal preference: bicultural experience
