Position: Beverage Cart Attendant
Department: Golf Shop
Reports To: Head Golf Professional, Pro Shop Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, Part-time/Full-time, Seasonal
Summary of Position
This position is responsible for the day to day operations of beverage cart. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating on course beverage cart, basic math and counting knowledge, maintaining a clean and well-organized beverage cart, while providing exceptional customer service and well-prepared beverage requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, courteous and competent service to all customers on a day-today basis.
- Responsible for operating the on-course beverage cart.
- Sets up and maintains cart in good working order. Reports any mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
- Responsible for serving food, beverages and snacks to guests on the golf course.
- Must be visible on the course and staying on a pre-determined route to ensure all guests are seen a sufficient number of times during their round.
- Must know and practice proper golf etiquette; products carried and price; health regulations and liquor laws; know names or groups being served: co-workers
- Must know and practice alcohol awareness.
- Responsible for maintain initial bank and customer sales during a shift.
- Responsible for completing end of shift paperwork accurately and returning bank/shift sales to supervisor.
- Responsible for providing proper change to customers.
- Stock beverage cart with all necessary supplies for your shift.
- Empty all trash and remove all personal belongings at end of shift.
- Occasional performs other duties that are assigned.
- Maintains all service standards outlined by the company and the beverage cart position.
Requirements (Skills/Abilities:
- Provide optimal customer service to guests by being self-motivated and customer service oriented.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.(i.e., weekends, holidays, longer shifts)
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Be familiar with the company’s handbook.
- Communicate with supervisor regarding all problems or issues with equipment or customers.
- Have and maintain a valid drivers’ license.
- Must obtain or have a valid New Mexico alcohol server’s license.
- Basic knowledge of golf course etiquette and golf course layout.
- Present a positive and professional image.
- Reliable and predictable attendance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and twist at the waist on a regular basis.
- Must be able to reach at, above and below shoulder height.
- Must be able to grasp, push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis.
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Must possess sufficient motor skills to operate carts and other equipment as required.
