Job Skills / Requirements

Job Summary :

The Accounting Manager will work directly under the CFO to plan and direct the accounting activities of the company and the department.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• Along with the CFO, manage the 10-person accounting staff who are responsible for accounts payable, billing, collections, and payroll.
• Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
• Assist the management of the day-to-day operations of AP, AR, and Payroll.

Proficient in accounting software.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Education and Experience :

Physical / Mental Requirements :

Ability to operate general office equipment.

Ability to effectively communicate using verbal and written skills.

Ability to make sound decisions.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working with office equipment.

Compensation commensurate with experience $65,000 - $85,000
