Role Description
Inner-Tech, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. The Superintendent will play a vital role in managing daily on-site construction operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day activities on the construction site, ensuring smooth operations.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and on-site personnel.
- Ensure project deadlines are met and address any delays or issues proactively.
- Maintain quality standards by conducting regular inspections and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Enforce safety protocols to provide a hazard-free work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial construction, particularly renovation and up-fit projects.
- Strong skills in construction management, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., PlanGrid, RedTeam) is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- OSHA certification or similar safety training is a plus.
