Located in the historic Jensen Quarry in Riverside, Oak Quarry features a 7,200-square-foot clubhouse, full-service restaurant, and pro shop. The Role

Oak Quarry is seeking talented Golf Shop Associates to join our pro shop team. Selected candidates will be responsible for supporting daily operations and ensuring an outstanding experience for all golfers and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with golf merchandise, tee times, and general inquiries.
• Maintain inventory, restock merchandise, and ensure the pro shop is clean and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive atmosphere.
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Help manage and schedule tee times and coordinate with other departments.
• Monitor shop displays and maintain product presentation standards.
• Assist in organizing and supporting golf events and tournaments.
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain a professional relationship with fellow associates and guests.
• Actively participate in training efforts to stay informed on product knowledge and golf club offerings.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and Oak Quarry standards.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to team goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Frequently stand and walk; talk and hear. Regularly use hands to handle merchandise. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with golf equipment, terminology, or operations is a plus.
