Set on 225 pastoral acres, our property features a farmhouse hotel, guest cabins, a restaurant, and various recreational amenities designed to provide guests with a serene escape.
Summary
Our bartenders are responsible for the preparedness of the bar and the accurate execution of both menu and off-menu cocktails, in addition to driving seamless guest experiences. Their focus includes delivering detail-oriented hospitality, preparing and organizing the bar for service, and holding a thorough and nuanced understanding of menus. Because they spend a great deal of time hosting guests directly, they are expected to be informative about the property, attentive, and insightful. They are often a guests first point of contact upon arriving on property, and for this reason they are responsible for making a strong first impression of graciousness and ease. Comprehensive training is provided on an ongoing basis as our collective knowledge and goals evolve.
Ideal bar candidates will have:
- At least two years of experience with a high-volume, hospitality-driven beverage program
- A positive “how can I help?” attitude and commitment to the overall guest experience
- A working understanding of food, wine, and an interest in culinary culture
- A professional understanding cocktails and spirits (primary styles, flavor profiles, categories)
- The ability to listen and communicate clearly
- The ability to follow instructions and make decisions based on the standards, mission, and goals of service as established by our leadership team
- The ability to set an easy, warm tone and establish a sense of trust with guests
- Flexible availability especially during summer
- The ability to stoop and to lift up to 40 lbs.
