Assistant Media Planner
INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency located in Huntington Beach, CA is looking for an Assistant Media Planner to join the Hyundai team!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Role Responsibilities
• The Media Manager will assist with all integrated HMA strategy responsibilities by assisting in the data and reporting management of media campaigns including National Lifestyle, National Retail/In-Market (digital), Regional, and Special Projects (i.e. auto shows, pilot programs). This position will work closely with the media agency team and internal cross-discipline partners including brand management, brand strategy, social media, and Data Science/analytics.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Oversee the monthly issuance of media budgets through on-going communication/coordination with media agency, HMA client team, and IWA billing department
• Working with the integrated IUS HMA-dedicated team and media agency brand team on a daily basis
• Manage ongoing day-to-day client and agency media reporting requests
• Contributing to ongoing campaign reporting and performance management, working closely with media director, media agency team and IUS Data Science, Business Intelligence and Media Intelligence Teams
• Warehouse and coordinate the ongoing campaign reporting and performance management, working closely with media director, media agency team and IUS Data Science
• Creative and asset coordination with IUS account group/CRM/social media
Secondary responsibilities include supporting the media team on general accounts
Fiscal Responsibilities (List N/A if not applicable)
• Responsible for supporting reporting and media budget outputs on an ad-hoc and monthly basis
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Abilities
• Strong “numbers management” ability to provide initial insights
• Ability to multi-task and naturally collaborate across different teams and work closely with clients
• Cross-media (traditional/digital) planning experience with an emphasis on Social
• Organization discipline
• Team collaboration personality
• Dynamic Presentation abilities a plus
Experience and Education
• B.S/B.A. preferred – preferably in Advertising/Marketing/Communications
• Minimum three years of media planning and buying experience including national and local media – both traditional and digital
• Previous OEM/retail automotive experience a plus, but not necessary
Technical Knowledge
• Must have a solid understanding of math
• Must be a fluent Microsoft Excel user with Power Point Expertise
• Must be fluent across Google Suite

Salary range: $24.04 to $26.44 hourly
Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: years of experience, client, training, and transferable skills.
