Quality Manager

Essential Functions:

• Directs the Quality Departments to assure quality process meets all standards set forth by Innomark and our customers.
• Develops and organizes effective training programs for the employees under their responsibility.
• Maintains high level of employee efficiency and morale through leadership and the use of sound management and principles. Praises employees when they are doing a good job and enforces discipline when necessary.
• Maintain and managing the NCR system, Customer, Internal, Internal Audits and Supplier
• Responsible for the procedure compliance updating and reviewing of documentation and procedures.
• Validation studies - New processes and machinery (as required)
• Conformance to ISO, FSC, HACCP and GMP requirements - Reporting and promoting (as required)
• Perform documented quality inspections if required by customers or management
• Monitor Quality System performance and provide regular reports to Director of Quality.
• Manage the Quality Technicians assigned to your facility(s).
• Manage the facility(s) dashboards for completeness and accuracy.
• Responsible for the document control system.
• Asist in root cause analysis, 8D’s and corrective action when needed.
• Continuously monitor quality data and propose ideas for improvement
• Work on continuous improvement projects based on Quality System performance
• Act as Quality liaison for Innomark as it involves customers or suppliers.
• Facilitate Customer-based, and 3rd party audits as required
• Assist on training on instructions, procedures, policies, and require accountability.
• Promote consistency in all area of the company.
• Oversee the sampling programs.
• Responsible for overseeing the calibration program in your facility(s).
• Oversee any rework of product taking place in your facility(s).
• Promote safety, quality, and increased productivity in all areas of company
• Other tasks as required by management
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
• Initiates immediate corrective action on unsafe working conditions
• Responsible for assuring (and enforcing when needed) compliance to quality procedures and instructions.

Position Requirements:

College degree or Vocational/Technical degree or equivalent experience in printing operations. A minimum of five years’ experience in the quality field and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the print industry. Good mechanical understanding of presses, prepress equipment and auxiliary equipment is helpful. Management and business training or knowledge required
