What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Operator/Engineering Document Control position at Innophos?
Innophos is hiring a CAD Operator/Engineering Document Control to oversee and manage engineering drawings to support capital project development and implementation.
This position can be located at either our Chicago Heights, IL or Nashville, TN location.

- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting preferred
- 3-5 years experience in Computer Aided Design and Drafting
- Working knowledge of AutoCad to create 2D and 3D drawings. Typical drawings include General Arrangements, Piping Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrument Diagrams, and Electrical One Lines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and hand sketches
- Good verbal/written communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including MSWord, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the proper wearing of clean protective clothing, following personal hygiene standards, and adherence to food/drink/tobacco restrictions
- Constant office work
- Seldom standing
- Rare lifting (up to 20 lbs), squatting, climbing, bending, plant field visits
- Never operates mobile equipment, operates heavy equipment, temperature changes

Salary : $60,000 - $88,000
