We are looking for a qualified Medical Office Manager to support our clinical operation and create a phenomenal experience for our patients. As a medical office manager, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations. We seek someone who is a highly effective communicator and leader, with a high level of emotional maturity and a proven history of following through to achieve key tasks and goals. This person should be proactive, with an aptitude for anticipating critical issues and the ability to communicate solutions to practice owners and staff. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our busy medical office.

Skills/ Responsibilities
FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION AND PAYROLL
- Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing, including thorough understanding of CPT codes and ICD-10, to allow thorough oversight of the revenue cycle process is an essential skill for this position
- Strong financial background with previous experience in physician billing systems, accounts payable, general ledger, tax reporting, and budgeting
- Ensure reconciliation of daily payments, Monitor budget and billing, review claims and aging reports, analyze P&L statements; payroll
PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION
- Demonstrated extensive experience in personnel management, including all aspects of hiring, firing, the ability to oversee training, reviews, PTO management and proper maintenance of personnel files.
- In-depth knowledge of personnel law, workplace safety, HIPAA, OSHA and other federal and state regulatory and compliance issues pertaining to a medical/cosmetic practice
- Ability to establish clear direction for a staff of 10 with accountability for day-to-day operations, objectives, and strategic goals
- Experience on-boarding physicians and mid-levels
- Encourage a positive and professional office environment that adheres to HR policies and procedures
- The ability to both lead, inspire and positively motivate a high performing team
CLINICAL OPERATIONS
- Comprehensive knowledge of practice operations, including developing and implementing office policies and procedures, maximizing office efficiencies and ensuring a high level of customer service is consistently maintained
- Liaise with doctors/providers to identify potential office dysfunctions
- Establish and maintain an inventory system for supplies and maintenance program for office/medical equipment, perform internal audits and manage expenses
- Impeccable organizational skills with the ability to effectively sustain multiple, simultaneous tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
PATIENT EXPERIENCE
- Manage daily operations to ensure the highest level of quality patient care and experience
- Implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction
- Marketing the practice and new medical services
- Able to handle patient issues or complaints to ensure patient satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2-4 years of healthcare or practice management experience in a medical office setting
- Prior Experience in a Dermatology Office preferred
Competitive Compensation - based on experience with potential for significant quarterly bonuses
Office Hours: M-Th: 7:30am - 5pm; F: 8:00am - 3pm
