What You Will Do | Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects with complex scopes involving all low voltage systems
- Coordinate labor, purchase materials and equipment at various stages of the project
- Be a resource and point of contact for the customer including General Contractors, Electrical Contractors and Owners
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and drive repeat business
- Ensure that projects are carried out with attention to detail and quality.
- Prepare all necessary documentation for projects including cut sheets, as builts, etc.
- Accurately forecast manpower requirements for all managed projects
- Forecast billing and material costs for projects over the life of the project
- Create change orders as needed throughout the life of the project
- Provide progress information & reports at regular intervals to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
- Constantly monitor billing, material and labor forecasting throughout the lifespan of a project
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that projected material costs are met or exceeded.
- Responsible for completing projects on time and within budget
- Ensure industry and company safety policies and procedures are followed
What We Are Looking For:
Required:
- Must have a high level of knowledge and hands on experience with managing low voltage projects.
- Strong ability to multitask and manage many projects simultaneously
- Experience with project management software
- Great leadership and organizational skills.
- Highly proficient in computer skills.
- Must be able to read requests for proposals, and floor plans and provide proposals accordingly.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational ability and time management skills.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Represent the company in a professional, credible manner in speech, written communication, and appearance.
Preferred:
- 5 years of experience in the fire life-safety, security, and low voltage industry.
- 3 years of experience in Project Management
- BICSI Certification
- PMP certification
