Innova is recruiting for a firm that provides design and project services to the power industry. We are looking for a Project Manager to manage gas utiity projects consisting of cross-functional teams that can involve multiple disciplines and multiple operating areas including contract resources. The Project Manager is responsible for managing or supporting the management of scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance of multiple projects and programs. This position leads or supports project teams through business case/capital approval process, development, and execution of project plans and project closeout. This position is expected to be in person, in the office and field a minimum of 3 days each week. You must live with a reasonable commute.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide project management leadership for large and complex gas utility projects
- Responsible for the overall management of the project scope, schedule, and budget
- Responsible for leading project meetings
- Develop, update, and execute the project management plan associated with the project lifecycle
- Coordinate communication and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Assess project risk and proactively develop mitigation plans
- Proactively manage project requests for information and action items
- Work collaboratively with the Engineering teams to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracking to plan
- Ensure availability or seek out adequate resources and contractors to support the project
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Acts as the primary customer interface or single point of contact (SPOC)
- Incumbent must be able to listen to and understand customer expectations and concerns and assure projects/programs are being executed effectively
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

- Knowledgeable in Exelon (PHI – ACE, DPL, PEPCO, BGE, PECO, ComEd) systems having a minimum of 2 years working with their systems (Asset Suite 8, Hyperion, uPPM, WPT, Redwave, OBIEE).
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Minimum of 5 years of gas utility project management experience required.
- Proficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions and project consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations to support project scope, schedule, and cost objectives
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, verbal and written communications, time management, and interpersonal and organizational skills
- Consistently produces results that meet goals, has high work standards, and understands the business environment and processes
- Achieves results by problem-solving, setting priorities, and organization
Education, Training & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
- PMP Certified
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.; sponsorship not available.

Pay: $98,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
