Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Engineer to manage IT Support, IT Infrastructure, Network, IT Asset Management, Application Support, and Local IT Procurement for our New Jersey office. The role will also include dispatch and receiving of IT assets, overseeing IT operations at the CEO's home office, and ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
Additionally, the IT Engineer will be responsible for supporting corporate events such as CEO Townhalls, Floor Connects, Client Townhalls, and other internal / external events, ensuring smooth AV, IT, and network support. The selected candidate must be available for off-business hours support, including evenings and weekends, when required.
Key Responsibilities :
1. IT Support & Service Management (ITIL Framework) :
- Provide onsite and remote IT support for employees, ensuring seamless technology operations.
- Utilize ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management to improve IT service delivery.
- Manage IT service requests, ticket escalations, and root cause analysis to minimize recurring issues.
- Maintain and update IT knowledge base and documentation for troubleshooting and support procedures.
- Provide support outside business hours for urgent IT issues, system outages, or executive-level requests.
2. IT Infrastructure & Network Administration :
Administer and maintain the office network (LAN / WAN), firewalls, VPN, Wi-Fi, and server infrastructure.Perform regular system updates, patch management, and backups to ensure business continuity.Troubleshoot and optimize network performance, connectivity issues, and remote access solutions.Ensure CEO's home office IT infrastructure is secured and supports a high-performance environment.Monitor critical systems and respond to alerts during off-business hours.3. IT Asset Management & Logistics :
Oversee IT asset procurement, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management.Manage dispatch and receiving of IT assets for employees, ensuring proper allocation and documentation.Maintain an updated IT asset register, ensuring compliance with company policies.4. Application Support & Management :
Provide Level 1 & 2 application support for business-critical and Enterprise applications, including troubleshooting and coordination with vendors.Ensure smooth deployment, patching, and updates of enterprise applications.Work closely with internal teams to test and support new application rollouts.Identify and resolve application performance issues, escalating to vendors or internal teams when necessary.Assist in off-hours application maintenance and upgrades as required.5. Assist in Local IT Procurement & Vendor Coordination :
Assist in the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services from local vendors.Evaluate and recommend cost-effective solutions to optimize IT investments.Work with vendors to manage service contracts, SLAs, and support agreements.6. IT Security & Compliance :
Implement and maintain IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, access controls, and network security.Conduct regular IT audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security policies.Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity frameworks.7. Collaboration with Other Teams :
Work closely with the Facilities, Admin, HR, and Communications teams to ensure seamless IT operations.Coordinate with regional and global IT teams to align IT strategies and infrastructure improvements.Partner with AV, broadcast, and media teams for supporting virtual and hybrid meetings.8. CEO Home Office IT & Network Support :
Set up and maintain a high-performance IT and network infrastructure at the CEO's home office.Ensure secure and reliable connectivity for remote work, video conferencing, and smart home technologies.Provide on-demand troubleshooting and proactive maintenance to prevent downtime.Be available for urgent CEO IT support requests whenever required including off-business hours.9. Corporate Events IT & AV Support :
Provide technical support for corporate events, including CEO Townhalls, Floor Connects, Client Townhalls, and other internal events.Set up and manage AV equipment, video conferencing systems, and live streaming tools for high-profile events.Ensure network stability and IT readiness for seamless event execution.Troubleshoot last-minute technical issues to ensure a smooth experience for speakers and attendees.Coordinate with event organizers to understand IT and AV requirements ahead of time.10. Location Visits & Feasibility Checks :
Visit potential event locations to assess IT and network feasibility.Evaluate internet connectivity, AV capabilities, and IT infrastructure before corporate events.Ensure all required IT and network resources are in place before event day.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.6-8 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure management, and network administration.Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Office 365, Active Directory, VPN, firewalls, and networking equipment .Experience with ITIL frameworks (certification preferred) and IT service management tools .Experience in supporting corporate events and AV systems .Familiarity with enterprise applications, troubleshooting techniques, and software deployment .Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT compliance requirements.Ability to work independently and handle executive-level support with professionalism .Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills .Willingness to provide IT support beyond business hours as required .Ability to travel locally for event feasibility assessments when needed.
