A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Functional Analyst

As a Functional Analyst you will:

Role Title: Functional Analyst As a Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, specifically in the Health and Human Services space. You will be responsible for gathering and evaluating functional requirements, engaging in functional design sessions, conducting systems functional testing, and supporting the successful implementation of IT solutions. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of client engagements and project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications in system analysis, IT implementation, or related areas are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role within a consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical requirements.
• Strong with Microsoft office suite
• Confident communicator that can work with technical and non-technical resources

1. Functional Skillsets:

• Requirements Gathering and Evaluation: Expertise in gathering, evaluating, and documenting functional requirements, and translating them into technical solutions.
• Project Scope and Objectives Definition: Skills in defining project scope and objectives, developing systems design procedures and processes, and overseeing the development of design solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any issues that arise during development or are identified in the production system

1. Soft Skillsets:

• Communication: Strong professional oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, customers, and team members
• Liaising: Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams
• Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions in ambiguous contexts.
• Teamwork: Experience working in teams and in a process-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in deliverables and analyses.
• Project Management: Proficient in Microsoft products such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Familiarity or experience working with Jira.

Preferred Skills

1. Technical Skillsets:

• System Analysis and Design: Proficiency in conducting feasibility studies, needs analysis, risk analysis, trade-off analysis, and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
• IT Implementation and Operations Management: Understanding of IT best practices, including technology strategy, architecture, service management, IT security, systems integration, data analytics, and cloud services
• Data Analytics and Visualization: Ability to analyze and visualize data to support project deliverables and client engagements

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed business process design and fit-gap analysis sessions.
• Develop functional specifications for legacy data extracts (as needed), interfaces, and system modifications in conjunction with application functional analysts.
• Participate in business process workshops to identify reporting requirements
• Work cross track to solve complex problems
• Work directly with our client to identify issues and talk through defect, data fix, and enhancement options
• Coordinate and lead the development of test scenarios.
• Report important issues, status, and actions required, escalating issues when necessary..

Pay Range*: <Between $60000 - 80000 per year

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
