General Laborer/Warehouse

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR IN COXSACKIE, NY

Volt is immediately hiring for an Equipment Operator in Coxsackie, NY.

As an Equipment Operator, you will be:

· Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner

· Operate variety of PIT including Sit Down Forklifts, Clamp Trucks, Reach Trucks, Order Pickers

· Perform daily transactional tasks using a Labor Management System

· Optimally connect with coworkers and display teamwork in completing task assignments

· Always maintain inventory integrity and product safety.

· Execute tasks using hand-held RF units / scanners or voice units

· Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas

· Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management

· Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.

This is a Full-time, contract opportunity.

Duration: 6 Months

The ideal candidate will have:

· Operated Forklifts (Sit Down Forklifts/ Clamp Trucks/ Reach Trucks/ Order Pickers)

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently without assistance

· Material handling equipment experience - preferred

· Ability to excel in fast-paced environment

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $20.50 per hour.
