A client of Innova Solutions is looking for a Utility Worker
Position type : Full-time - Contract
Duration : 12 months
Location : San Antonio, TX
As a Utility Worker, you will be :
- Sets up barricades and traffic cones.
- Acts as flagman to direct traffic as times.
- Breaks ground or pavement where necessary by use of jackhammer or whatever methods conditions prescribe.
- Digs trenches by means of shovel, or other methods as conditions prescribe. Tamps and backfills trenches.
- Does other similar work, which may be called upon to perform, and any other work as necessary or to satisfactorily complete the job to which has been assigned.
- Working knowledge of use, care, and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in trade.
- Ability to observe and report equipment status.
- Knowledge of inspection methods and techniques for strict compliance with regulations and applicable codes.
