Position: Breakfast Server
Location: Naples, FL
Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager/Assistant Food & Beverage Manager/Food & Beverage Supervisor
Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary:
Servers will be responsible for the dining experience to include greeting the guests, serving the guest in a gracious and professional manner that represents the highest of standards to ensure exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance to Innovation service standards.

Essential Functions
- Work as part of a team with all team members within the hotel
- Report to work on time and in proper uniform/approved attire
- Serve guests in an efficient and courteous manner
- Check all tables and service station for cleanliness
- Prepare service station with necessary items for the shift
- Set up buffet with all plateware, glassware, and serving utensils
- Have required tools ready for the shift (ie. cocktail tray, pen, guest check)
- Set up tables with items needed such as salt, pepper, sugar bowls
- Knowledge of all buffet items (preparations/allergens)
- Ability to provide descriptors regarding menu items
- Awareness of any items that will be substituted on the buffet
- Replenish hot and cold items on the buffet line when running low
- Refill beverages
- Ability to carry a cocktail tray
- Detail tables and remove all items not being used
- Bus tables quickly and quietly
- Maintain all service stations and dining areas clean
- Never solicit tips
- Attend monthly department meetings and daily stand ups without exception unless approved by management
- Ability to handle situations, or when situations arise, ability to let manager/supervisor know ahead of time so as not to affect the guest experience
- Perform other duties as management requests to service our guests
- Ability to use POS (point of sale) system – MICROS
- Follow all standard operating procedures
Qualification Standards
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or higher
- Previous hospitality/serving position required, minimum one-year FOH serving experience in high volume restaurant preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to use technology, e.g. tablets, POS systems
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk and bend
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to work long hours as needed
