Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist the AP/AR processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
Team Management: Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting procedures, ensuring the team uses best practices and technologies.
Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with other departments such as Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure financial alignment across the business.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts; analyze variances and provide insights to management.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CA preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and audit processes.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
