What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance Supervisor position at Innovations in Nutrition + Wellness?
Who we are looking for : We are looking for a positive professional who is honest, detail oriented, organized, and who take initiative and pride in their position with the company. Ideal candidates will possess successful leadership experience in facilities management and sanitation. The ability to communicate in Spanish will be a huge plus for the person in this role.
What you would be doing : As Building Maintenance Supervisor you would direct a team that keeps the equipment and the facilities in compliance with regulations, certification specifications, and looking like a state of the art facility. Maintain a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and established policies and procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities to ensure the quality and safety of the product will include, but not be limited to :
- Supervise the activities of the facilities and sanitation team, contractors, vendors, installers, and repairers to meet quality standards, production goals and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain sanitation records and log-books for GMP compliance.
- Maintain Maricopa County air quality records.
- Conduct & document internal audits of the facility to access potential compliance issues.
- Maintain facilities and grounds in a sanitary and esthetically pleasing condition.
- Assist Quality Department in maintaining and updating FDA standards on a continual basis.
- Maintains accurate and up to date documentation such as log books, work orders, and calibration, etc.
- Identify, repair or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment components.
- Manage departments parts inventory and request or order materials as needed.
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve the current processes.
- Reports to work regularly and on time.
- Perform duties safely and reports unsafe conditions or actions.
- Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
