We are seeking a skilled Maintenance - Mechanic to join our team at Innovative Ag Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our truck equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time at assigned workplaces, notifying supervisors of late arrivals or absences prior to start times.
- Maintain required licenses and physicals necessary for job requirements.
- Collaborate with shop operations, including scheduling, making repairs, processing vendor paperwork, and managing work orders and shop invoices.
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and warehouse areas.
- Operate and maintain equipment and facilities as needed.
- Distribute farm supply products and grain when assigned.
- Participate in safety and job-related training programs.
- Foster a positive, professional image for customers and the community.
- Cross-train in millwright duties and responsibilities.
- Accept and execute other assigned duties given by location managers.
- Maintain data and execute company plans in shop efficiency and billable hours directed by location managers.
- Manage tool inventory tracking and reporting.
- Possess DOT Inspection Certification.
Key Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various machines and tools.
- Experience with diesel engines and computer diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and chemicals.
- May require working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
