What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Coordinator position at Innovative Career Resources & Staffing?

If so, we want YOU on our team as a Field & Maintenance Coordinator! This is a Monday-Friday position with occasional weekends coordinating and inspecting properties in Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
The qualified professional will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Maintenance Coordination
- Lead the daily maintenance operations, ensuring all repairs and services are completed safely, efficiently, and up to company standards.
- Develop and oversee routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance schedules to keep properties in peak condition.
- Manage vendor relationships—obtain estimates, track invoices, oversee work quality, and ensure timely project completion.
- Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests, prioritizing tenant satisfaction and property preservation.
- Track billing processes, ensuring all maintenance-related expenses are accounted for and completed on time.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, codes, and compliance standards.
Field Inspections & Property Oversight
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess conditions, identify issues, and ensure lease compliance.
- Document findings with detailed reports and photographs to track maintenance needs.
- Communicate inspection results to owners, management, and tenants, providing clear solutions and timelines.
- Oversee the progress and quality of maintenance and repair work performed by contractors.
- Identify and address safety hazards, code violations, and potential risks to maintain a safe living environment.
- Retrieve and replace spare keys as needed while ensuring a well-documented key tracking system.
- Work closely with leasing teams to ensure properties are move-in ready and conduct turnover inspections.
General Responsibilities
- Be the go-to contact for tenants regarding maintenance concerns, ensuring fast, professional responses.
- Collaborate with leasing, operations, and other departments to support overall company goals.
- Maintain an organized key tracking system to ensure accountability.
- Take on additional responsibilities to support the property management team as needed.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience performing field maintenance.
- Proficiency in conducting inspections and generating detailed reports.
- Knowledge of building systems, repairs, and maintenance protocols.
· Hands on experience working with property management software (Appfolio) and tools.
Salary : $22 - $25
