Your schedule is steady, with hours typically running 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, averaging 45–50 hours per week.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER
As you step into your role as the Director of Construction - Hospitality Renovations, each day is an exhilarating blend of planning and execution. You orchestrate the entire construction process, aligning timelines and budgets while maintaining clear communication with clients, architects, and subcontractors. Regular site visits allow you to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and uphold safety standards. You adeptly manage project budgets, track expenses, and collaborate with the construction estimator to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities. Leading project meetings, you resolve challenges and foster teamwork while meticulously maintaining essential documentation. As a mentor to your project teams, you cultivate strong relationships with clients and suppliers, driving successful outcomes that transform spaces and elevate the hospitality experience.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with up to a $15 million projects
- Proficient in Project Management software and tools. (Procore, Planswift, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to effectively lead and motivate project teams
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Construction Project Manager, specifically in the hospitality industry and hospitality renovations
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or something similar are a plus
