Innovative Environments (IE) is seeking a talented Exhibit Artist with a keen eye for design to join our Tradeshow Sales team. In this role, you will bring creativity and innovation to the forefront of our trade show booth designs and displays, helping clients bring their visions to life. Working closely with clients, project teams, and outsourced rendering artists, you will conceptualize and deliver visually impactful designs that stand out in the competitive tradeshow environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Presentation & Client Engagement (60%)

  • Serve as a design expert in client meetings, creating visually compelling concepts
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure designs align with their brand identity and event strategy
  • Provide quick sample renderings and mockups using Adobe Creative Suite and 3D tools
  • Gather and integrate client feedback to refine designs and exceed expectations

Design & Rendering Development (30%)

  • Conceptualize and create trade show booths, exhibition displays, and promotional materials
  • Manage and oversee outsourced rendering artists, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery
  • Maintain a portfolio of successful designs for easy reuse and modification
  • Utilize existing rental inventory and ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective

Administration/File Management (5%)

  • Archive design files, renderings, and related materials for future use
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders across departments

Research & Innovation (5%)

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and design innovations
  • Share insights and ideas during department meetings to inspire creative growth

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interior Design, or related field
  • 1 years of experience as a Rendering Artist or Graphic Artist
  • Tradeshow or production industry experience is a plus

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and 3D modeling software
  • Strong understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on measurements, alignments, and visual consistency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem-solving mindset with a passion for design innovation

Work Environment

  • Office-based position with occasional travel for client meetings or events
  • Frequent sitting, with occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs)
