Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). In this role, you will work with residents who have mental illness in short-term community homes, assisting them in developing independent living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with setting healthy social boundaries, budgeting, and attending medical appointments.
- Aid with grocery shopping, meal planning, and medication administration.
- Support residents in cultivating positive relationships and friendships.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Some experience working with mental health.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- A strong drive to help others and foster positive relationships with those we serve.
