**Job Description**
As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will assist residents with mental illness in short-term community homes by practicing independent living skills. Your responsibilities will include assisting with setting healthy social boundaries, budgeting, attending medical appointments, grocery shopping, picking healthy meals, medication administration, and picking healthy friendships/ relationships or other areas of need.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you must have some experience with mental health, be at least 18 years old, and possess a strong drive to help others and create positive relationships with persons served.
