Inside Sales / Technical Support
Job Purpose: Help customers order the right product for their needs.
Main Responsibilities
1. Answer questions from new and existing customers to make sure they are purchasing the correct model and options for their needs via phone calls, emails, and website inquiries.
2. Provide price quotes using pricing sheets for dealers or end users and information from production planning (estimated ship date) and shipping (estimated shipping charges).
3. Process purchase orders and get confirmation from customer before order is released to production. May involve changes to their orders.
4. Keep customers informed on the progress of their orders.
5. Troubleshoot any problems that occur with existing slides, provide warranty repair parts.
6. Answer installation questions.
Secondary Responsibilities
1. Calculate pricing on new custom products not currently on pricing sheets.
2. Test models for capacity.
3. Attend trade shows to help market our products to various industries – fire and rescue, utility vehicles, recreational vehicles.
Education and skills
Sales and Customer Service experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills – email, phone, and in person.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, Gmail, Google Docs, QuickBooks and E2 software.
General manufacturing knowledge and ability to understand dimensions and drawings.
Personal qualities
Thoroughness, attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize.
Dynamism.
Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
