Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to join our team at Innovative Renal Care. This role involves providing professional supervisory nursing practice in the care of patients suffering from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and adequacy of patient care, recognizing and assisting in solving professional, administrative, and supervisory problems in the clinic.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a registered nurse with experience in both clinical and management of an ESRD facility. You will exercise considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in solving nursing problems within established policies and practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional supervisory nursing practice in the care of patients suffering from ESRD.
- Maintain the quality and adequacy of patient care.
- Recognize and assist in solving professional, administrative, and supervisory problems in the clinic.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor degree preferred.
- Twelve (12) months of nursing experience.
- Six (6) months of experience of nursing care with a patient with permanent kidney failure or undergoing transplant, including training in and experience with the dialysis process.
- At least three (3) year of experience in both clinical and management of an ESRD facility preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Meets all applicable state/licensing requirements.
- Previous supervisory responsibility strongly preferred.
