Innovative is seeking an Account Executive with a proven aptitude of customer service brilliance that leaves clients delighted after every interaction. The Account Executive is crucial to customer growth at Innovative, so a focus on building and evolving relationships is undeniably necessary for success in this role.
The candidate must reside in Rochester, NY
Responsible for:
· Prospecting, qualifying, and following up on leads to create new business development opportunities within the small to mid-size market in Western NY
· Managing a subset of Innovative’s existing customer base to uncover new opportunities for growth within each assigned account
o Conducting regular account review meetings for existing client base
· Networking and developing strong business relationships throughout Western NY
· Maintaining ongoing sales funnel report with timely and accurate information
· Ensuring all opportunities follow the ‘survey, assess, and align’ process and are either: (a) disqualified appropriately, or (b) qualified and won.
· Being an active sales team member who contributes to the sales team goals (quota achievement and participation in team forums/meetings)
· Collaborating with Service Delivery leaders to effectively manage solution engineering costs on each opportunity
· Fielding triage calls from customers on an as needed basis
· Gaining referral business from qualified and reputable sources
· Regularly attend networking events (virtual and/or in-person) in Innovative Solutions’ target market

What experience you need:
· Prior experience selling complex B2B solutions required. IT Managed Services, Cybersecurity or Technology organization a plus, but not mandatory.
· Prior experience selling into SMB market preferred
· Highly skilled in prospecting techniques (including cold calling!)
· Understanding of CRM technologies, specifically Salesforce, as well as B2B Marketing tools
· Formal sales training preferred, but not necessary
· Accustomed to being held to daily/weekly/monthly productivity metrics
