About Us :
The Nashville Jr. Predators and TPH Nashville are dedicated to developing student-athletes on and off the ice. We are seeking a Head Coach for the 18U AAA team who will also serve as Player Development Coach & Mentor. This full-time role is ideal for a passionate hockey professional looking to Develop, Impact, and Guide the next generation of Nashville Jr. Predators!
Key Responsibilities
Culture, Mentorship & Impact :
Foster a high-character, high-performance culture emphasizing discipline, accountability, and personal growth.
Engage with student-athletes as players, students, and individuals, ensuring a well-rounded development approach.
Support player wellness initiatives and reinforce the importance of academic and athletic success.
Recruiting & Player Development :
Recruit and evaluate potential student-athletes for the Nashville Jr. Predators & TPH Academy.
Build relationships with players, families, and coaches to support recruitment efforts.
Lead on- and off-ice development sessions, including video analysis, skill development, and team practices.
Coaching & Team Management (18U AAA) :
Plan and lead team practices, video sessions, and pre- / post-game meetings.
Develop a structured team concept while allowing for individual creativity.
Communicate effectively with players, families, and scouts regarding performance and advancement opportunities.
Promote players to junior and college programs
Qualifications :
5 years of hockey experience (coaching, playing, or development roles preferred).
Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
Ability to evaluate talent and develop structured training programs.
Computer proficiency (Google Suite, video analysis software, etc.).
Commitment to a flexible, non-traditional work schedule, including travel and weekend commitments.
