Tissue Services Associate

To continue operating at our high standard, we’re seeking a Laboratory Technician who has a strong background in human anatomy and a willingness to learn about the cadaveric advantages to continued medical education and training.
The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to coordinate and collaborate across a range of departments.
Ultimately, the logistics laboratory technician should be driven by a desire to exceed client expectations and company standards.
Objectives of this role
- Execute administrative functions for the tissue operations team.
- Work in collaboration with intake and recovery processing teams to accomplish company objectives outlined by management.
- Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for Innoved sourcing outreach.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Innoved clients regarding imaging needs.
- Coordinate all imaging needs and appointments with vendors and internal departments.
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively.
- Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to a wide range of obstacles.
- Occasionally assist in medical imaging, taking fluoroscopy shots, or bringing specimens to imaging facilities.
- Occasionally assist in the intake of cadaveric specimens.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong grasp of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong background in human anatomy.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
- Overall friendly disposition with an enthusiasm to support the medical donation field.
