Your Role and Who We Are Looking For :

As our Overnight ER DVM, these qualities ensure the highest standard of care while maintaining a positive and effective work environment during overnight shifts.

R esilience and Stamina

The ability to stay focused, energetic, and composed throughout overnight shifts, often under demanding circumstances.

Quick Decision-Making

A sharp and decisive mindset to evaluate critical cases swiftly and accurately in high-pressure situations.

Excellent Communication Skills

The ability to explain complex medical information to clients in a clear and empathetic manner, often during stressful situations.

Adaptability

Comfort with unpredictable caseloads and the ability to pivot quickly between tasks as emergencies arise.

Empathy and Compassion

A deep sense of care for patients and understanding for clients experiencing emotional distress.

Team Collaboration

Strong teamwork skills to work seamlessly with technicians and support staff to deliver efficient and effective care.

Passion for Emergency Medicine

A genuine enthusiasm for the fast-paced and unpredictable nature of emergency veterinary medicine.

• A DVM / VMD from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medicine preferred.
• Florida Veterinary License in good standing (or ability to obtain).
