As a Veterinary Receptionist at Walton Gwinnett Animal Hospital, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, managing client communications, and supporting our veterinary team to ensure the smooth daily operations of the hospital. Our Veterinary Receptionist's typically work 4-day work weeks and rotate Saturday's. As receptionists, you will be guaranteed to receive every Sunday off.
Location : 4695 Atlanta Hwy, Loganville, GA 30052
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM (Shifts start at 7 : 15 AM)
Rotating Saturdays : 8 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM (Must arrive by 7 : 45 AM)
Pay Range : $13.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction & Communication :
- Greet and check in clients with a warm, friendly demeanor.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing accurate information regarding services, appointments, and procedures.
- Schedule appointments for routine visits, emergencies, and surgeries, ensuring accuracy in client and patient information.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding hospital policies, procedures, and financial information.
- Educate pet owners on pre-appointment requirements, post-care instructions, and general veterinary health information.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Prior experience in a hospital or veterinary setting is required, with veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff, and vendors.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM with rotating Saturdays (8 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM), and arrive by 7 : 45 AM for Saturday shifts.
Positive, can-do attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
