We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is an expert in Completions and Well Construction and will be a creative problem solver with excellent technical writing skills and experience working in a cross-functional environment. As an Applications Engineer, you will work closely with sales, operations, and customers to provide the best solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot problem jobs and find solutions to increase product success.
- Work with product line engineering to improve the performance and reliability of our products.
- Visit with customers to understand their goals and work with them to find solutions that meet their needs.
- Perform necessary calculations to understand downhole tool loading and provide technical support to the team.
- Aid in maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for our product and work with the team to continually improve them.
- Help communicate product development needs to management and the product development team.
- Adjust operations processes as necessary to increase product realization and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical writing support for proposals, technical reports, and other documentation as needed.
Experience:
- 5 years of proven experience working directly with Completions and Well Construction (Toe Sleeves, Float Valves, Liner Hangers, Float Equipment, Stage Tools, ICPS)
Necessary Knowledge:
- Engineering Degree Preferred (Petroleum, Mechanical, Mining).
- Analytical skills are necessary to recognize and solve highly complex problems.
- Strong capability to think outside the box, create, and implement new solutions and approaches.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Platform
