What are the responsibilities and job description for the UI UX Developer - InnoVisions position at INNOVIM?
INNOVIM is seeking a UI UX Developer to assist with development on our InnoVisions team. InnoVisions, is an advanced data platform within an agile, secure, and extensible architecture within a managed cloud environment, enabling seamless data ingestion, processing, and visualization for mission-critical applications.
This is a temporary to possible permanent position
Location: Remote, based out of Silver Spring, MD.
Travel: Minimal to Colorado Springs, CO
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Presentation of complex data for technical and non-technical data users
- Object oriented Python development
Required Skills:
- Strong UI/UX development
- Solid understanding of Python development best practices, including dependency management, virtual environments, containerization, etc
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ELK, Elasticsearch, Power BI and relational databases
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-grade software solutions in a fast
- Experience in digital visual design to include graphics and web
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer in production environments
- Must be able to show examples of front-end work- not just “user stories”. Need to be prepared for us to see the front-end work
