Responsibilities
- Guest/Food Service Serve restaurant and room service Guests and bus tables. Maintain complete knowledge of menu. Handle Guests’ special requests. Accurately complete Guests’ orders and collect payments. Balance cash and credit card receipts daily. Adhere to food handling guidelines at all times.
- Cleaning Assist with quality and presentation issues, cleanliness and organization of kitchen and restaurant whennecessary. Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen or restaurantarea. Miscellaneous Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along withGuests, clients, co‐workers, and management. Comply with all tipping laws and company requirements. Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving of all Food and Beverage items as directed. Service conference room catered functions as necessary. Adhere to proper grooming and dress codes for the department. Knowledge of and ability to carry out hotel emergency procedures.
Qualifications
Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred, but not required. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and some locations require an Alcohol Server’s Permit. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read and write. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
Salary Range: $16.28 plus tips
