Molding and Robot Technician

The INOAC Exterior Systems Livingston facility has a job opening for a Molding and Robot Technician.

• Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting molds, machines, and production equipment.
• Establishing, recording, and maintaining machine process parameters to mold parts that meet quality specifications.
• Documenting mold changes and machine adjustments
• Cleaning and maintaining molds and equipment
• Performing inspections on mold components
• Repairing any damages to the mold or machinery
• Continually monitor all processes related to Blow-molding to ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Team
• Familiarity with Moto-man / Fanuc Robots is preferred – Demonstrate the ability to program robots
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair or replace components of robot equipment
• Understanding of general molding practices
• Understanding of operation of pneumatic equipment & repair
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operation and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Understanding of general ordering practices for operational supplies. For Example (Sandpaper, Gloves, etc.)

EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE

Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school: or six months to one-year related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
