Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
Provides direct care to patients (under direct supervision of registered nurse) whose care requirements are routine and standardized
Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
Effectively communicates with health team members, patients and families.
Preceptor for all new Clinical Technicians
Requirements :
Experience : One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or successful completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an Accredited RN Program and / or two years of nursing school completed
Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification : BLS within 90 days of hire (from the American Heart Association)
Training : Candidate must be able to attend six week training orientation upon hire
Special Skills : Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills required
