What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fintech Project Manager position at Inpay?
We are looking for a highly driven and result-oriented Project Manager. You will report to the COO, work closely with the founder and lead various business-critical technology-focused projects across the entire company. Our projects range from launching new products to selecting and implementing automation tools, increase efficiency, roll out AI-assistants to every employee and everything is focused on improving efficiency and boosting revenue.
You relish taking total ownership of projects – from initial planning to execution, understanding technical details, collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders and finally conclude each project by presenting the calculation that shows impactful short term positive ROI – and ensure all learnings - good & bad – are used to make us all better.
\n- Lead end-to-end execution of technology and digital transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
- Define project scope, objectives, success criteria and key deliverables aligned with business goals and priorities.
- Collaborate across departments, including Development, Risk and Compliance, Operations, Product, and Commercial, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs and requirements.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders, providing clear progress updates, risk assessments and issue resolution proposals.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigating strategies to keep projects on track.
- Drive agile methodologies, ensuring teams follow best practices in Scrum/Kanban.
- Manage external vendors where required as part of projects, ensuring third-party solutions align with company requirements and needs
- To be successful in this role, you must take total ownership of projects and have a drive for success. You must be able to immediately shift from the large-picture strategic overview to deep diving on subtle technical details and help problem solving.
- Your ability to innovate fearlessly and work collaboratively will be key to thriving in our fast-paced, scale-up environment.

- 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in fintech or financial services
- 5 years working in start-ups / scaleups
- Background in software development.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to understand and align project goals with business objectives, ensuring that technical solutions meet the broader needs of the organization.
- Higher education in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Six Sigma).
