What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at iNRCORE?
SUMMARY
Under general supervision, this position will provide daily support at the Bristol, PA location for all routine and non-routine HR inquiries, management and overall administration of HR policies, procedures and programs. The successful incumbent will provide expertise, advice and counsel to the management team and employees. The incumbent will demonstrate a high-level of integrity, a strong depth of knowledge, proactive approach to customer service, and a forward-thinking mindset.
This position is not eligible for relocation reimbursement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Creates offer letters of employment.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
- Ensures compliance with all wage and hour laws and best practices
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR manager and/or legal representative.
- Makes disciplinary recommendations. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Must model company culture to create a positive workplace by promoting communication and an open-door policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
Requires considerable knowledge in all areas of HR to include, but not limited to, principles and practices of human resource administration. Demands effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent memory and organizational ability, attention to detail and accuracy. Must be people oriented and results driven with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, multi-task and have a bias for action! Must have knowledge of state and federal labor laws and requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or business-related experience with 5 years’ experience or equivalent experience
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
