Position Summary :
As a Fitness Coach at our kickboxing gym, you will lead group classes and provide personalized training sessions for our members. You'll be responsible for guiding them through workouts that incorporate kickboxing techniques, cardio, strength training, and flexibility. Your role is to ensure our clients get the best experience possible while helping them achieve their fitness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-energy kickboxing classes for individuals and groups of all fitness levels.
- Design and implement training programs tailored to clients' fitness goals, such as weight loss, strength, endurance, and kickboxing skills.
- Offer one-on-one coaching and support during personal training sessions.
- Ensure that workouts are safe, effective, and engaging, maintaining proper form and technique.
- Motivate clients to reach their fitness goals while creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean and organized training environment.
- Promote gym membership packages, merchandise, and upcoming events.4
- Foster a sense of community and camaraderie among members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and kickboxing techniques.
Qualifications:
- Certified Fitness Trainer (e.g., ACE, NASM, or similar certification).
- Ability to stay on your feet for long periods; 3-4 hours at a time.
- Ability to provide instruction (speak) for 3-4 hours straight.
- Kickboxing or martial arts experience is preferred.
- Previous coaching or personal training experience, especially in group settings.
- Strong communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to provide individualized fitness plans and demonstrate proper techniques.
- Passion for fitness and helping others succeed.
- CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain it).
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to teach kickboxing classes with a focus on technique, endurance, and fitness.
- Experience working with diverse fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes.
- Knowledge of injury prevention and safe training practices.
- Social media presence or experience in marketing fitness programs is a plus.
