Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that construction projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong skills in project coordination, time management, and familiarity with construction management software. The Construction Administrator will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and streamline processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of project contracts and documentation.
- Coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Process field staff timecards
- Assist with field staff orientations
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Primavera for project tracking.
- Support project managers in monitoring budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication between various teams on the construction site to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including changes in scope or schedule.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare reports on project status for stakeholders, highlighting any potential issues or delays.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction administration or a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with contract administration and compliance requirements in construction projects.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
