Our client is searching for a Regional Sales Manager for the West region. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring a team of sales professionals, and managing the region's overall performance. Your ability to develop your team of Sales Specialists, build strong customer relationships, and leverage our 3rd party rep network will be critical to your success. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational execution, and a passion for driving results. This role will report directly to the Director of Strategic Partners.
In this role, you will :
- Manage a team of experienced Sales Specialists and 3rd Party Manufacturers' Sales reps to deliver double-digit sales growth within the region, leveraging all best-in-class products and services.
- Provide effective leadership, coaching, and mentorship to develop and empower Sales Specialists and 3rd Party Manufacturing Reps within the region.
- Motivate and inspire the sales team, creating a positive and results-oriented environment.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the region, aligning with overall company goals.
- Assign accounts, and sales territories and set sales quotas for each Sales Specialist.
- Monitor individual and team performance, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Lead the recruitment process to identify and hire top-performing Sales Specialists for the region.
- Perform quarterly business reviews with 3rd Party Manufacturing Reps, utilizing playbook tools to effectively assign sales quotas, measure performance, and hold accountable.
- Own the 3rd Party Manufacturing Rep rationalization process, utilizing playbook tools, to effectively manage the assessment, replacement, retention, or expansion of 3rd Party Manufacturing Rep coverage, aligning with overall company goals.
- Implement and deliver ongoing sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development Team to identify key targets and leverage your regional team to support end-market selling strategies.
- Assist Sales Specialists in closing complex deals, providing strategic guidance and support.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients in the region, collaborating with Sales Specialists.
- Analyze regional sales data and trends, generating actionable reports and proposals to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Drive adoption and utilization of CRM tools to provide actionable reports and feedback to management in the form of demand planning, customer feedback, and market trends / shifts to retain a strong competitive edge.
- Attend tradeshows, customer events, regional association meetings, and corporate engagements

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $145,000 annually.
