Position OverviewThe Access Management Manager proactively leads the Access Management unit, ensuring high service levels, compliance, and security within the university’s IT infrastructure. This role encompasses supervising staff, managing daily operations, and overseeing secure and efficient user access to the University of Kansas's enterprise systems.
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this position safeguards the integrity of academic and administrative systems by adhering to strict access and security protocols. The Access Management Manager is a key advisor for access-related issues and collaborates with security and technical teams to enhance processes and system documentation.
This role emphasizes leadership, innovation, and a strong focus on data security and customer satisfaction, ensuring alignment with KU, state, and industry standards while protecting the university's data assets.
Due to complex state employment laws, the University of Kansas may be unable to hire fully remote workers for this position outside of Kansas. Specifically, we cannot currently offer employment to candidates residing in the following states : California and Delaware.
