Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for Alumni Students Hosts. The Alumni-Student Host program is an elite group of students who assist the UNG Office of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving (OARAG), hosting alumni visitors, providing staff clerical support, and make weekly calls to alumni. This professional group comprises students involved on campus, who excel academically and are committed to serving their university and those who came before them. An Alumni Student Host aspires to enhance the collegiate / alumni connection and embodies the legacy of UNG leadership qualities. He / she serves as a link between the student body, alumni, and friends. Experience as an Alumni Student Host builds personal and professional skills and provides opportunities to network with prominent UNG alumni, administrators, and friends.
Weekly work schedules are flexible; we understand the importance of academics & involvement on campus. It is a one-year experience program with up to two students selected to return for a second-year experience and serve as Team Leads. The collective team size is 5 - 8 students.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and execution of alumni events.
- Office clerical work.
- Make weekly calls to alumni, inviting them to events or asking them to join / renew alumni association memberships.
