Description :
The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is seeking applications for a full-time lecturer position in Chinese to begin August 1, 2025. This position is a 3-year renewable term, with teaching load of 12 hours per semester.
The lecturer is expected to be able to teach Chinese language at all levels and be actively involved in the development of the Chinese program.
Qualifications :
Minimum qualifications : M.A. in Chinese pedagogy, linguistics, or related fields; native or near-native fluency in Chinese and English; at least three years of Chinese teaching experience at post-secondary level in the U.S.; demonstrated excellence in teaching.
