Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position will manage all set up, operations, and recordkeeping related to event parking. This position hires, trains, and supervises personnel for all aspects of lot maintenance and event responsibilities. This position will work with UND Procurement to hire vendors / contractors for yearly lot maintenance along with maintaining the parking lot inventory and lot assets.
Subject to call back 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate all field operations for events
Coordinate all field operations, including scheduling and training staff, deploying, and collecting traffic control equipment.Flexible work schedule is required, including evening and weekends.Manage all money collections and deposits according to policy and procedures set by the University..Hire, train, and supervise the event team and assure schedules have the appropriate coverage.Responsible for the SF vehicles assigned to eventsResponsible for ordering, maintaining and the inventory of all traffic control equipment.Responsible for maintaining the event email and calendarManage parking lots including parking ramp
Work with the procurement office to arrange yearly bids for minor lot repairs, including painting, sweeping, and potholes.Maintain a comprehensive spreadsheet of all lot repairs.Responsible for all lot signage; including inventory, ordering, submitting work orders, and placement / replacement.Maintain and update space inventory spreadsheet to ensure accuracy and update AiMS all parking lot assetsCoordinate locates for post placementsPlace posts once locates have been identified or submit work orders if necessaryProvide communication to the parking team and others affected with parking lot updates, changes, or interferences.Coordinate ramp cleaning in the spring.Maintain, repair or replace meters and pay stations as necessary.Collect and deposit meter and pay stations revenue in accordance with internal auditing requirements.Deposit credit card transactions used at the pay stations and Passport Parking.Update spreadsheets associated to meters / pay stations and Passport Parking.Work with the Housing Office for all parking lot needs.Work with the team in scheduling lot counts.Parking Enforcement Officer

Associate's Degree1 year supervisory experience2 year experience in customer serviceExperience with Microsoft Excel, Word or OutlookSuccessful completion of a Criminal History Background CheckIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Preferred Qualifications
