General Summary of Position :
VetsRISE is a new workforce training program for transitioning service members and their spouses. The open position is Program Manager, UML VetsRISE program, and is a benefited full-time position currently funded through 8 / 31 / 2025 with the possibility of renewal. The position will be responsible for managing a workforce training grant program : attracting program supporters / employers, assisting with attracting program participants as needed, creating curriculums, sourcing instructors, tracking detailed program metrics, reporting on activities, completing required grant reports, and other duties.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist in the management of the program by :
- Ensuring that program obligations are met. Establishing and monitoring work plans and commitments. Modifying work plans as needed.
- Contributing to strategic discussions on program directions and goals.
- Attracting and collaborating with consultants, partners, and stakeholders to meet program goals.
- Establishing and implementing policies and procedures needed for successful implementation of the program.
- Participating on program calls and meetings
- Filing reports required by the funder, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, and by UML

This is a Grants & Contracts (MTA / GRACE) bargaining unit position, Grade P16.
